The implementation of the Manufactured Home Installation program began on September 1, 2006. From this date on, any new manufactured (mobile) homes installed anywhere in the State of North Dakota must be inspected to assure that it is installed according to the manufacturer's installation instructions. This program was established by the Legislature in 2003 and 2005 in lieu of having a federally imposed installation program required by the Manufactured Housing Improvement Act of 2000.
